We went for the jerk chicken and prawn fried rice. It was yummy. Also normally get their Patties, fried fish and dumplings which are delicious

This place is banging. Rum cake £3 just needs likkle more rum. The people are vybz it’s twice now I’ve gone upset and feel amazing when I’ve left. Good value. Soup is so nice my craven self forgot it had chicken bone in it and I think I might have swallowed one.

The food was lovely my choices to were ox tail with rice and peas and also had some fried fish with fried dumpling the fish was seasoned and the fried dumpling was not oily.The customer service was on point and shall be visiting again. The gunniness punch hit the spot. Thank you

Love it! I live nearby and I can't get enough of their Rum Cake, absolutely delicious and reasonably priced, and so are the patties, dumplings and curry goat. My family never tried Jamaican food (but we all are like Master Chefs at home and great cooks) and we really enjoyed during their visit. Clean place and has nice staff. Thanks! P.S. I moved to a different area and I miss this place It's a little gem in Lewisham and the owner is a nice and good-hearted person. My bf bought cake in 2 different places as we could not go to Lewisham and the cake was dull, dry and had no rum flavor or smell (miles away from Gabby's recipe). Getting the bus so I can come over when I can, worth the trip!

Out of all the Caribbean food shops this is far my favourite. I have been coming to the place for years. No other comes close. The food is on point and the staff are always friendly. I do not live in the area but will always travel to Lewisham to buy food from this place no matter how long the journey takes. Reminds me of what my mum cooked when I was living at home. Excellent.

Read the rest of the reviews and I’m glad I stuck with my gut instinct and got the patties. You can’t go wrong with patties mi love. Me and my babe got patties. I only eat veg and she eats beef. Can’t lie tasted better than the ones back home, very tasty and flaky with right amount of filling. Would 100% recommend. Will go back to see if they have frozen ones so I can take home

Gabby's Caribbean Takeaway is a delicious gem in Lewisham! The lunchtime specials are only 5 or under with four choices to choose from. Definitely sorted with a choice of chicken, goat, fish and jerk chicken.
